Along the way, they will also discover the Kingdom of Eswatini and explore a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This immersive six-day journey takes your guests from the vibrant energy of the city to the breathtaking coastline. They’ll begin by exploring Johannesburg before embarking on an unforgettable safari experience with the renowned ‘Big 5’ at Kruger National Park. Along the way, they will also discover the Kingdom of Eswatini and explore a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Guests can spend the day at their leisure or opt for a guided afternoon tour showcasing the highlights of Johannesburg and Soweto (at their own expense). They will return to the hotel in the late afternoon. For dinner, guests have the choice to dine at the hotel or explore one of the numerous restaurants in Sandton (at their own expense).
Overnight at Protea Hotel by Marriott Balalaika or a similar accommodation – Breakfast included.
After breakfast, guests will set off for Hazyview, taking the scenic Panorama Route. The first stop is the breathtaking Blyde River Canyon and the Three Rondawels, known as the largest green canyon in the world. Guests will also visit Bourke’s Luck Potholes and Wonder View, the highest point along the route. A lunch stop (at their own expense) will be made in Graskop, with arrival at the overnight accommodation on the outskirts of Hazyview in the late afternoon. Guests can unwind before enjoying a relaxed dinner (at their own expense) at the hotel.

After an early breakfast, guests will depart for the renowned Kruger National Park. They will embark on a guided game drive in a closed vehicle, where they can witness a remarkable array of wildlife and plant species, including some rare and endemic birds. Lunch (at their own expense) will be enjoyed at one of the park’s rest camps before continuing the adventure. An optional full-day safari in an open vehicle is available (at their own expense, excluding lunch). After exiting the park, guests will return to the hotel to freshen up and enjoy pre-dinner drinks (at their own expense) before dinner (at their own expense).

Guests start the day with an early breakfast before embarking on a second guided game drive in a closed vehicle through Kruger National Park. There’s an option for a full-day safari in an open vehicle available at an additional cost (lunch not included). Throughout the day, guests will search for the ‘Big 5’ along with a variety of wildlife and plant life. Lunch (at own expense) will be enjoyed at one of the park’s rest camps. The group will exit the park at Malelane Gate and arrive at their overnight accommodation in the late afternoon, located right on the edge of the renowned park. Guests can unwind with pre-dinner drinks (own account) on the deck that overlooks the Crocodile River before enjoying dinner at the hotel.

After an early breakfast, guests will check out of the hotel and head towards Hluhluwe, passing through the Kingdom of Eswatini. The Ezulwini Valley, often referred to as the ‘Valley of Heaven,’ is home to several wildlife sanctuaries and craft markets. Guests can enjoy lunch (own account) during the journey. As they reenter South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal, they will arrive at the hotel in the early evening, just in time for a Zulu cultural show and dinner (own account).

NOTE: Guests must carry a valid passport when entering the Kingdom of Eswatini, and multi-entry visa regulations apply for nationals of certain countries.
Following breakfast, the tour proceeds to St Lucia, where guests have the opportunity to take a boat cruise on St Lucia Lake (own account). This cruise offers a chance to see unique wildlife and bird species, as well as mangrove swamps and lush sand dunes, making for an engaging and informative experience. After the cruise, the group will continue on to Durban, with lunch along the way (own account). Guests are expected to arrive at the hotel in the early afternoon.
