My family of 4 did the guided surface diamond mine tour in Cullinan with Fundani Tours. The tour starts off by entering the gated premises and entering into a small museum with collections of some unique diamonds and relevant information. Then we move on towards the surface area of the mine to get an in depth insight of the functioning of the diamond mine. The tour ends in the fabulous gift shop, where one will find several varieties of diamonds for potential buying. Overall it was an awesome offbeat educational experience. I would certainly very highly recommend this tour to any traveler wanting to do an offbeat experience.

Peterson the manager took us on an awesome walking tour of the Cullinan mine. No question was too basic or too advanced with all kinds of amazing historical facts on the mine and other Southern Africa history. Try it. Something fun to do around Pretoria.
