Guests arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, receiving fast track service and assistance through immigration. They are then met by Fundani Tours representative for their safari briefing. Guests already at their Nairobi hotel are briefed on pick up. Guests drive to Chyulu Hills, arriving in time for lunch at ol Donyo Lodge. This is traditional Maasai land next to the Chyulu Hills that inspired Ernest Hemingway’s “Green Hills of Africa”. Take an afternoon game drive in the lodge’s open Land Rover with scheduled activities.

After breakfast, the tour heads out for a day visit to Tsavo West National Park with a packed picnic lunch. In the diverse ecosystems of Tsavo West, guests can see herds of elephants, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and the occasional leopard. The verdant Mzima Springs, fed by underground water arising from the Chyulu Hills, is a good place to watch hippos in their natural environment.
Overnight ol Donyo Lodge – Lunch, dinner, and breakfast.
After breakfast, guests fly back to Nairobi, approximately 1 hour. On arrival at Wilson Airport, they will be met by a Fundani Tour driver guide and enjoy a Nairobi half-day excursion. Sights include a visit to
the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (the elephant orphanage); the Giraffe Centre, and the Karen Blixen Museum. Guests enjoy lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens Restaurant. After lunch, the tour departs for Lake Elementaita Serena Camp, within the Soysambu Conservancy, which is a 2 hour drive from Nairobi. Guests enjoy a late afternoon game drive in Soysambu Conservancy.
Overnight at Lake Elementaita Serena Camp – Lunch and dinner.
After breakfast, the tour takes a short drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for a morning game drive. Guests arrive back at Lake Elementaita Serena Camp by late morning. After lunch, they can enjoy several
activities on offer at the camp including: guided bird walks with the resident naturalist; game drive in Soysambu Conservancy; sundowners, and a night game drive.

After breakfast, guests check out and drive to Laikipia, arriving at the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy and then on to Lewa Safari Camp. In the afternoon, guests enjoy a game drive with views of Mount Kenya in the east.
Lewa Safari camp offers authentic comfort for its visitors, featuring large tented bedrooms with verandas, and cozy log fires in the sitting room that are perfect for relaxing after a day in the conservancy. The following day is spent enjoying morning and afternoon game drives in the conservancy and also experiencing the various activities on offer.

After breakfast, guests will be transferred to Lewa Airstrip for their flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve. On arrival they are met by the camp driver guide for their transfer to Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp. Styled in vintage luxury, Cottar’s Camp recalls a bygone era of safaris
in the 1920s, combining historic features with modern travel amenities. The camp has its own private conservancy adjacent to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. The Masai Mara is perhaps one of
Africa’s most diverse and spectacular ecosystems and affords guests some of the best game viewing opportunities in the world. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive, returning in time for dinner.
Overnight at Cottar’s 1920s Camp – Lunch and dinner.
Guests enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve and on the private conservancy. An early morning hot-air balloon excursion with champagne breakfast upon landing is included (weather
dependant). Guests can enjoy other activities on offer at the camp, including: shared day and night drives in the camp’s safari vehicles; bush walks/bush runs; canvas bush baths, and a kid’s entertainment programme.

Following breakfast, visitors will be taken to the airstrip for their return flight to Nairobi, where they will be greeted by a representative from Fundani Tours.
Guests are taken through to Nyama Mama Restaurant where they can enjoy a farewell lunch and are then transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for their departure flight.
