As visitors land at Entebbe International Airport, they are greeted by a friendly Fundani Tours Uganda representative who will escort them to their accommodation. The Boma Hotel, nestled in lush tropical gardens in a serene neighborhood, is known as Entebbe’s premier hotel. Just a short drive away from the airport, the hotel rooms seamlessly blend contemporary amenities with the timeless appeal of a 1940s residence.

Experience the wonders of Murchison Falls National Park with a 5-hour drive after breakfast. Kabalega Wilderness Lodge, nestled next to this natural reserve, offers a unique stay in individual safari cabins along the River Nile. Named after the legendary King Chwa II Kabalega, the lodge pays homage to the rich history and culture of Bunyoro. Embark on an evening game drive and the next day, explore the park on a morning game drive. Indulge in a delicious lunch at the lodge, followed by a boat trip on the River Nile and an afternoon game drive.

Once breakfast is finished, guests will embark on an early morning journey to the captivating Kibale Forest Park, which will take approximately 7 hours. This park is a haven for nature enthusiasts, housing an impressive array of wildlife, including 13 primate species such as the Red Colobus, chimpanzees, and L’Hoest’s Monkey, as well as 70 different mammal species. The main highlight of Primate Lodge Kibale is its secluded location, nestled deep within the forest and conveniently situated next to the starting point for thrilling chimpanzee tracking expeditions. Each of the 9 luxurious cottages offers ample space and en-suite facilities, ensuring utmost privacy and a genuine connection with nature. Moreover, the cottages boast a spacious veranda that provides breathtaking views of the forest. As the day comes to a close, guests will be treated to a delectable dinner at the lodge.

After a briefing, visitors set off on a chimp tracking adventure in Kibale Forest National Park, lasting around 2-3 hours. Along the way, they may spot Grey-Cheeked Mangabeys, Red Tailed, and Blue monkeys. Knowledgeable guides reveal the forest’s secrets, making the trek both educational and fun.
Later in the day, a 3-hour drive takes guests to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing by volcanic crater lakes. On clear days, the ‘Mountains of the Moon’, the Rwenzori Mountains, are visible. An evening game drive awaits visitors upon arrival.
Parkview Safari Lodge sits on the edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park, offering stunning views of the park’s wonders. The lodge’s design blends modern and local elements, providing a gateway to the wilderness. Exuding an authentic African atmosphere, the lodge ensures a comfortable stay for all guests. The next day, an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park is followed by a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, a 32km waterway. This channel boasts the highest concentration of hippos globally, allowing for up-close encounters. Expect to see crocodiles, buffalo, and various other wildlife, as well as a diverse array of bird species.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, visitors will make their way to Four Gorilla Lodge, a scenic 6-hour drive that serves as the starting point for gorilla tracking. The lodge boasts 8 spacious and cozy rooms, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to Colobus Monkeys, chimpanzees, and a variety of bird species. The park is renowned for hosting half of the world’s endangered mountain gorilla population.
Following breakfast, guests will set off on their gorilla trek. By 8am, they will gather at the ranger station for registration and a briefing from one of the rangers. Accompanied by guides, visitors will venture into the forest to locate the gorillas. The trek can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 7 hours, requiring a good level of fitness and sturdy walking boots. Sitting in the lush rainforest with the majestic mountain gorillas is an unforgettable experience. Visitors are allowed one hour with the gorillas before heading back to the base station.

Enjoy an early breakfast before guests transfer to the Kisoro Airport for a scheduled flight to Entebbe International airport. Transfers to international terminal for outbound flight.
