Day 1 | Sunday JOHANNESBURG to KRUGER NATIONAL PARK via HAENERTSBURG

At 6:30am, guests depart from Johannesburg, embarking on a picturesque journey to the northeast. Lunch will be taken in the charming town of Haenertsburg (at guests’ own expense).

Upon arrival, guests will settle into the comfortable Bush Lodge, located in a private reserve within the expansive Kruger National Park, where wildlife roams freely. This exclusive reserve offers guests the chance to explore the wilderness in open game drive vehicles, both during the day and at night.

Overnight at Bush Lodge – Dinner included.

Day 2 | Monday KRUGER NATIONAL PARK - BALULE GAME RESERVE

The day begins with a light breakfast featuring fresh coffee and rusks, followed by an exciting morning adventure in this renowned ‘Big 5’ area.

Guests will immerse themselves in the wilderness, keenly searching for animal sightings while also discovering the smaller, often overlooked wonders of nature.

Before the midday heat arrives, guests will return to the lodge for brunch, after which they can relax at their leisure.

As the afternoon cools down, an open game drive will take place, transitioning into an extensive night drive to spot nocturnal wildlife. As the sun sets, we’ll pause to enjoy a refreshing sundowner drink.

Overnight at Bush Lodge – Brunch and dinner included.

Day 3 | Tuesday  PANORAMA ROUTE - HAZYVIEW

After breakfast, guests will set out to discover the breathtaking sights along the Panorama Route, known for its stunning natural attractions and viewpoints. The first stop will be the magnificent Blyde River Canyon, followed by Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and finally, God’s Window (weather permitting). Guests will have the chance to enjoy lunch (at their own expense) and interact with the locals.

In the mid-afternoon, the tour will proceed to Greenfire Lodge Hazyview, a beautifully constructed log cabin perched on stilts within the indigenous forest along the Sabie River. If time allows, guests can take a nature walk on the property and explore the nearby coffee farm, immersing themselves in the enchanting surroundings.

Overnight at Greenfire Lodge Hazyview – Breakfast and dinner.

Day 4 | Friday KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

At sunrise, guests will leave the lodge and head a short distance to explore a new section of Kruger National Park for a full day of wildlife observation.

As we drive slowly through this vast national park, which is comparable in size to Wales, we’ll be on the lookout for the diverse wildlife that calls this area home. From the comfort of our well-equipped vehicle, our knowledgeable guide will share insights into the behaviors of the various animals we encounter.

The majority of the day will be dedicated to game viewing, with breaks at designated spots to stretch our legs and enjoy lunch (at your own expense) at one of the park’s rest camps. In the late afternoon, we’ll exit the park and return to the lodge for dinner.

Overnight at Greenfire Lodge Hazyview – Enjoy packed breakfast snacks and dinner.

Day 5 | SaturdayDEPARTURE - JOHANNESBURG

After a leisurely breakfast, guests will depart from Hazyview and make their way back to Johannesburg. The tour will wrap up in the late afternoon upon arrival at the hotel in Johannesburg.
